Catlateral Damage is a first person mischievous cat simulator, where your objective is to knock as many of your loving owners belongings onto the floor within a 2 minute time limit.
It’s a fun little game, and there’s a lot of satisfaction to be had from knocking things over and making a mess (That’s probably why cats do it in the first place). The dev plans to add more levels (rooms) to destroy, but at the Alpha gives you free reign to destroy your owners bedroom for 2 mins. On your marks… get set… destroy!!
Re-drawn ‘Two Rooms and a Boom’
I decided to draw my own version of the print and play game Two Rooms and a Boom*. I haven’t actually played it yet but I’ve been obsessed with it, ever since I heard it described on the Shut up and Sit Down podcast here.
The game looks SO COOL, and ELASTIC, and it can play with OVER THIRTY PLAYERS! Here’s an example of its play.
I wanted to print a copy of the game with art and roles that were sweeter and more gender neutral. Some elements of the official print-and-play version had things that I wasn’t comfortable giving my friends to play (like, the image on the ‘Nurse’ card was just the torso of a model wearing a halloween sexy nurse costume. Why!)
The game has recently been kick-started for a professional printing and it looks like it’s going to be all re-designed, which is great! In the meantime I’m having a good time re-drawing the whole thing. I think that I only have like 80 more to draw, then I’ll post a pdf of the whole thing somewhere.
Haha I mean, I haven’t played it yet. First I’ll play it, and then I’ll see if I’m going to draw 80 more cards.

Howdy! It’s been a while, huh? Here is my submission to my friend Tait’s Mario Kart 64 zine, where each contributing artist drew an illustration based on a level in Mario Kart 64. I got the Skyscraper battle course. Here we see what happens after a player gets knocked off/accidently goes flying off the edge of the skyscraper! I feel that out of all of Bowser’s minions, Goombas would be the first ones to be glad seeing their boss get knocked around a bit. Not only do they seem constantly grumpy all the time anyway, but they’ve been dealing with his shenanigans from day 1.
If you’re wondering about my monster girl comic, never fear! New pages will be coming soon. :)
Hilary’s piece for this Mario Kart zine is AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to get it all put together!
